Getting gastric sleeve surgery was the absolute toughest decision I've ever had to make in my life. It's true for what they say, The winner takes it all but at what cost? Yes my stomach did get cut 80% and yes I did loose 145 lbs so far but there's the days of not eating, over eating, the mental battle and the days where overthinking and questioning "Did I make the right decision?"
At the end of the day I know it was definitely the right choice in getting baratric surgery but you don't know what someone is going through truly behind closed doors. My life has changed so much since getting surgery in 2023 and made some amazing connections.

I rediscovered my passion for running, completing one full marathon and two half marathons, which seemed impossible before. Unlike before, where food was a source of comfort and sometimes despair, I now enjoy eating in a balanced and mindful way. This change didn’t happen overnight but has been vital for maintaining weight loss and overall wellbeing.
