Life Thoughts, Monday - 6-23-25
Hi. Welcome to Life Thoughts.
Throughout my lifetime, there have been really great constituent oriented politicians and ones that see being elected as a “Self-Enrichment” job.
I find myself often wondering what the “Founding Fathers” would think of today’s elected officials? My guess is they shake their heads as one, sigh, as one, and push to have them all impeached, fired, recalled and generally run out of DC!
As always, be nice, be safe, and laugh a lot!
Talk tomorrow.
If you find value in my videos or even if they just make you laugh or think, please share them. I want to reach as many people as I can. Thank you for watching.

In today's fast-paced digital world, many individuals often find themselves questioning the integrity of politicians and their motivations. The contrast between constituent-driven politicians and those who seem to prioritize self-enrichment is stark. The Founding Fathers, who envisioned a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, would likely express concern over the current political landscape. It is essential to analyze the qualities that make a good politician and to appreciate those who are dedicated to serving their communities. Self-enrichment among elected officials can lead to public distrust and disillusionment with the political process. Engaging in discussions about accountability and transparency in politics can highlight the need for ethical governance. Historical reflections can also serve as a guide for contemporary voters, encouraging them to seek out representatives who truly represent their interests. Moreover, humor and camaraderie can be vital in bridging divides in political discussions. Encouraging kindness and laughter provides a much-needed relief from the often tense political climate. Let’s not forget that while politics can be serious, there’s always room for positivity and light-heartedness. If you resonate with these thoughts and find value in these messages, consider sharing them within your community. Engaging others in discussions about politics and ethics can promote a culture of active citizenship and a deeper appreciation for democratic principles.
