Cheeseburger Skillet
Sometimes comfort food says “I love you” better than words. This easy homemade hamburger pasta reminded me of the kind of meal that brings everybody to the kitchen before you even call them. 💛 Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, bonus moms, grandmothers, and women who make people feel loved through food and care.
Recipe 🍴
Ingredients
* 1/2 lb 73/27 ground beef
* 1 cup dry elbow pasta
* 1/2 cup marinara sauce
* 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
* 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
* 1 mini red sweet pepper, chopped
* 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
* 1 tbsp salted butter
* 1 oz Velveeta cheese
* 1 tbsp sugar
* 1 tbsp granulated garlic
* 1 tbsp Season-All
* 1 tsp parsley
* 1 tsp thyme
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning
* 1 bay leaf
Instructions
1. Boil elbow pasta until tender. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onions and peppers until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
3. Add butter, marinara sauce, sugar, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. Stir well.
4. Add Velveeta cheese and let melt into the sauce.
5. Fold in cooked pasta and mix until coated.
6. Remove bay leaf and serve hot.
