How to sing the verse without being boring

Verse is the heart of the narrative. If Chorus is the "hook punch" that makes people remember, Verse is the "content" that makes people in. If this part is boring, people can press it before they reach the hook.

Here are some techniques to help make your Verse verse more attractive and appealing:

1. Start with "Sound Weight" (Dynamics)

Don't let go of all the power from the first sentence. Verse often needs Intimate or Intimacy like we're whispering a story in the ear.

Let's start with the light: Try a pitch of only 30-40% of the power.

Use Vocal Fry: Putting a low moan at the beginning of a sentence will make it look more emotional and "Real."

2. "Storyteller" (Storytelling)
