Daily Devotional: My God Shall Supply
There is something deeply personal about those two words; my God.
Not a distant provider.
Not a reluctant giver.
Not a last resort when everything else fails.
My God.
Paul does not say that God will supply according to our savings, our strength, or our strategy. He says God supplies according to His riches. That changes everything. The weight of provision was never meant to rest on our shoulders; it rests on His abundance.
Yet if we are honest, trust can feel uncomfortable.
We like plans.
We like visible outcomes.
We like control.
But Scripture calls us to loosen our grip and place our trust fully in Him. In Proverbs 3:5-6 we are told to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. Trust is not partial. It is full reliance.
Jesus echoes this truth in Matthew 6:33:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
When we seek first the Kingdom, everything else finds its rightful place. Provision follows priority.
This does not mean life will be effortless. It means your source is secure. The same God who fed Israel with manna in the wilderness is the God who sustains you today. The same Father who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows has not overlooked your need.
Sometimes we reduce "supply" to finances. But God's provision is far deeper:
- He supplies strength when you are exhausted.
- He supplies peace when your thoughts are restless.
- He supplies wisdom when decisions feel overwhelming.
- He supplies grace when you feel insufficient.
And sometimes, what He supplies most is endurance; the quiet ability to keep walking faithfully when the outcome isn't visible yet.
True devotion grows when we stop treating God as a backup plan and start living as though He truly is our source. When He is your source, anxiety loses some of its volume. Striving begins to loosen its grip. Fear no longer dictates your obedience.
Trust is not passive. It is the daily decision to say,
"Lord, You are my provider. Everything I have comes from You and exists for Your glory."
And when devotion is placed fully in Him, something steadies within us.
Because if He supplies according to His riches, then your need will never outrun His resources.
Hold this close today:
Your life is not upheld by what is visible, but by the God who faithfully sustains it.

The Abrahamic god is a monster who genocided the world, destroyed cities, killed babies, tortures anyone who questions him. What a despicable religion. Moses massacred idol worshippers and Christians see nothing wrong with. What a terrible moral corruption.
