Raiden Ei redesign fanart

I've been wanting to try my hand at a Raiden Ei redesign for ages! She's such an iconic character in Genshin Impact, and I always find myself wondering about alternate looks for her. This particular piece was a real labor of love, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how her new purple and white outfit came out against that dramatic backdrop. It's always a fun challenge to take an existing character like the Raiden Shogun and put my own spin on her, almost like creating a unique Genshin OC based on an established favorite. My primary goal was to give her a more ethereal and powerful feel, something that moved slightly away from her in-game appearance while still retaining her unmistakable essence. What mood or emotion do you want to convey? Don't be afraid to experiment with colors, compositions, and settings. Sometimes, I look to other artists for inspiration, especially those with a distinctive art style, perhaps even one reminiscent of the 'ttzewo art style' which often features dynamic compositions and strong moods. However, it's crucial to then put your own unique spin on it to make the piece truly yours. Even though my original post playfully mentioned being 'lowkey kinda lazy,' a considerable amount of thought and effort went into making this piece special. It's incredibly rewarding to see a vision come to life on the canvas.
