Hey ZZZ squad! Ever found yourself daydreaming about the perfect Zenless Zone Zero OC? I totally get it! After sharing my first ZZZ OC design, I wanted to dive deeper into the awesome world of character creation in New Eridu. It's so much fun to imagine your own agent or settler amidst all the chaos and cool tech! My character, inspired by an 'Orchard Ranch Settler' concept (you might have seen the 'Jenna Rich Orchard Ranch' signs in the background of some of my sketches!), is all about bringing a bit of rustic charm to the urban sprawl of New Eridu. When I was designing her, I focused on creating someone who felt integrated into the city's past or a hidden, natural pocket within it. Think about it: what kind of life would exist in the fringes, perhaps tending to the last vestiges of nature or providing supplies? That's where the 'NEW ERIDU SETTLERS GUIDE' vibe comes in – someone resourceful and grounded. For her look, I went for practical yet stylish. The red plaid shirt, white crop top, and denim shorts give her a relatable, down-to-earth feel, while the brown cowboy boots and fluffy brown and white tail add that unique ZZZ flair. And yes, the animal ears are a must for that touch of whimsy and mystery! I even pictured her carrying a trusty picnic basket, perhaps filled with freshly gathered 'red fruits' or supplies for a trip into the Hollows. Accessories like a golden horseshoe or milk bottles with cow faces could totally complete this 'Orchard Ranch' aesthetic, hinting at her background or even a small, self-sustaining community within New Eridu. It’s all about telling a story through design! Now, speaking of stories, what about her role or even her own 'faction'? My character might not be part of a major organization like Cunning Hares, but she could be a crucial independent agent, a supplier, or even a protector of forgotten natural spaces. Imagine a small collective of 'Orchard Ranch' residents, working together to keep a piece of the old world alive. They could specialize in foraging, unique craft items, or even have a deep understanding of the Hollows' natural anomalies, perhaps leading to their own unique 'ethereal transformation' abilities! Thinking about 'zzz ethereal transformation' for an OC is super exciting. For my settler, maybe her transformation isn't about raw power, but about temporarily merging with the essence of New Eridu's forgotten nature. Picture her gaining heightened senses, speed, or even the ability to manipulate organic growth to create temporary barriers or traps, becoming almost a spirit of the land. The 'heart-shaped red fruits' she gathers could even be a key component in activating such a skill, symbolizing life and vitality. It would be a transformation that’s both beautiful and surprisingly effective, reflecting her deep connection to the environment. When you're brainstorming your own ZZZ OC ideas, start with a core concept like "New Eridu explorer," "Hollows rogue," or "tech-savvy artisan." What makes them unique? What's their backstory, and how does it influence their appearance, gear, and potential abilities? Don't forget to think about their personality and how they'd interact with the vibrant cast of characters in Zenless Zone Zero.
