Here I’m drawing with a fine tip ballpoint pen on a canvas I painted with acrylic. Making such detailed drawings on canvas can be really difficult compared to paper, which is why significant canvas prep is necessary first. I covered this one with gesso then sanded it down at least 6 times over

You can’t tell from the video, but the ocean is down there below the super dense fog! It’s always blown me away that the fog can roll in this thick even on an otherwise sunny day. I was about 1000 ft above sea level when filming this! Big Sur #california #travel #hiking #nature

When I lived in New Hampshire the last couple years, this was one of my favorite spots to take New England newbies when they visited. It’s always so beautiful, whether overcast or sunny. But make sure to bring a jacket even if you visit in the warmer months! All that ocean water air can be icy.
