POV: You Practise Bikram Yoga 🔥😎

The world: falling apart.

Bikram yogis: hot and unbothered. 😎🔥

When you voluntarily spend 90 minutes practising yoga in a 40°C room, somehow everything outside feels a little less dramatic. 😂

Maybe that’s part of the training too — staying calm, breathing, and carrying on when things get uncomfortable.

☀️🧘‍♀️🔥

... Read morePracticing Bikram Yoga consistently has taught me fascinating lessons about managing both physical and mental discomfort. Spending 90 minutes in a heated room set at about 40°C is no easy feat, but the intense heat forces you to focus deeply on your breath and posture. Over time, I noticed that this intense focus translated into everyday life, helping me handle stress more calmly. Being a Bikram yogi means embracing discomfort and learning to stay unbothered, even when external circumstances feel overwhelming. The heat pushes your limits, but it also acts as a purifier—sweating out toxins and tension alike. Personally, I’ve found that the mental training involved—staying composed and breathing steadily—has improved my overall mindfulness. Many beginners worry about the heat, but acclimating gradually is key. The combination of challenging physical poses and the controlled breathing techniques helps build endurance and mental strength. This form of hot yoga is not just about fitness; it’s a holistic experience that renews both body and mind. Whether you're facing a hectic lifestyle or emotional challenges, Bikram Yoga helps cultivate a calm, centered mindset that truly makes you feel hot and unbothered amidst life’s ups and downs.
