NO MORE GATEKEEPING! FILTERS I ❤️ FROM CAPCUT!

Ok many of my friends have been asking (literally no one…) me the kind of filters I’ve been using to edit my videos, so today imma #SpillTheTea and show you my top 3 filters from the App #CAPCUT ! Be sure to SAVE this post cause you’ll need it!

1. Red Tea

One of the most versatile filters on the app! I’ve tried using it for literally any genre of clips and it somehow works. From portrait, to food, to landscape, this is the filter to go for if you’d like to add a subtle oomph to your videos.

2. Inception

This filter adds a lot of warmth to your clips, hence it’s a good choice for the mornings or the golden glow in the evenings! Of course you would need to tweak it a little here and there to get the right kind of vibe.

3. Orange Blue

Like the name suggests, this filter targets mainly the orange and blue colours on your asset. This can be used as a good starting point to get that very vacation vibe and is great for landscapes or the beaches. One trick I would give is to edit the HSL and bring the luminance of both the blues and greens down to balance the richness of the teals/blues.

Comment below what are some of the filters you like to use on CAPCUT. Also, let me know if you would like me to share how I edit videos on the app!

... Read moreIf you're looking to create eye-catching reels or simply refine your video editing skills on CapCut, combining filters can be a game-changer. For instance, layering the Red Tea filter to add subtle saturation with a touch of the Orange Blue filter enhances beach scenes beautifully, making colors pop while maintaining a natural feel. I often tweak the Hue, Saturation, and Luminance (HSL) sliders to balance tones, especially by lowering the luminance on blues and greens to control vibrancy and avoid overexposure. Adding filters like Inception works wonders to convey warmth, perfect for golden hour shots or morning vibes. You can also adjust opacity for a softer effect if the filter feels too intense. Another tip is to use CapCut’s filter combo presets if you're short on time or want consistent aesthetics across multiple clips. For anyone starting out, I recommend experimenting with these three filters and adjusting their intensity to find your unique style. Not only do they suit various content types—from fashion to lifestyle and food—but they also serve as a solid foundation for creating captivating video edits that stand out on social media platforms. Remember to save your favorite combos for quick access in future projects and share your own filter faves for even more inspiration!
