Just as many, I have been through a lot in my life. On top of that I’m a very private person so therapy was never an option. So within me dealing with my traumas that at first I never acknowledged, I realized that in order for me to be a better person, a better woman, a better mother and potentially a great wife, I have to not only acknowledge the traumatic experiences that have altered my way of being but also learn different coping mechanisms that ultimately healed my inner self little by little. Now in no way shape or form would I say I’m 100 percent healed because there are things that still trigger me but I can say within the moments of being triggered I understand there is a lesson I might have overlooked that now needs my attention and I dive into that head first to seek understanding & wisdom.
