Aini honoured with Promise Award at GCTEA!
Congratulations to SSH Lecturer, Aini Yasli, who was recently honoured with the Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards 2025 Promise Award!
Aini is Singapore's first Paralympic powerlifter. She represented our nation at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, the Fazza Dubai 2021 Para Powerlifting World Cup and the 2023 ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia.
Aini is also making a #Greaterlmpact as a logistics volunteer with PlayBuddy — an adaptive sports playgroup for children with disabilities — and as a Clean Sport Educator empowering athletes to compete with integrity.
Recently featured as a speaker at @tedxntu 2025, Aini shared how she turned physical challenges into sources of strength, inspiring audiences to rediscover what makes us human.
