CHATGPT RUNNING PLAN UPDATE 🛑🛑

CHATGPT UPDATE: 1 am no longer using ChatGPT for my running plan. I used it to try something different, something that was free and easy to understand.

The issue - Any time I gave it a prompt/update, it basically put me back to the beginning, telling me to repeat my easy runs 2-3 times, my long runs weren't increasing and the tempo session were either too much or not enough. It didn't take into consideration my life, my sleep, my fitness... even after I updated it with this really important information

I feel like I have enough experience now to know what feels good and what doesn't and for me it just started to feel out of place. I created the same plan on Runna, which looked totally different and I have been following that now for the last couple of weeks.

I would say it you can afford a running coach then get a running coach! If not, a lot of them have free running plans available. Runna is a solid option if you can't afford a coach... just remember and listen to your body, if it's too much, slow it down, if you feel a niggle or sign of the start of an injury then stop ultimately, do what's right for you
