Fresh produce Costco haul for a family of 4✨
I love to have fruit on hand at all times especially for my toddlers who go through fruit like crazy! Costco always has the best prices when it comes to bulk fruit!
I love costcos mangos! I like to buy them in bulk because it’s cheaper than buying them separately in another store. I get a lot because my kids can eat one mango a day themselves. I like the taste of these because they always taste fresh. I wait until they are soft enough for me to squeeze with my hands before cutting into them. Out of other stores these rank 9/10.
I love Costcos bananas! I think they taste great the price is only $2 for organic ones. I love getting bananas and either making a healthy smoothie or some sort of cookie or bread for my kids! I rank these bananas 9/10 compared to other stores.
Sweet potatoes! I eat 2-3 sweet potatoes a week and I find these to always be consistently clean and great in size at Costco. I eat them either with ground beef for lunch or I will just eat it as a dessert with maple syrup and cinnamon roasted in the oven. I rank this 10/10 from other stores.
Only $17 for the total cost!

Shopping for fresh produce at Costco is a great way to save money while ensuring your family has access to healthy fruits and vegetables. From my own experience, buying in bulk not only cuts down on the number of trips to the store but also encourages me to get creative in the kitchen. For example, organic mangos are a favorite in my household. Storing them at around 52°F (11°C) helps to keep them fresh longer, while ripening them at room temperature brings out the best flavor. Bananas are another staple, perfect for quick snacks or homemade recipes. I often mash ripe bananas into smoothie blends loaded with spinach or oats for my toddlers, or bake them into healthy cookies and breads that the whole family enjoys. These little additions make it easier to incorporate more fruit into everyone's diet. Additionally, sweet potatoes are a versatile and nutritious choice I love pairing with lean proteins like ground beef for a wholesome lunch. They’re packed with vitamins and fiber, which is great for overall health. When buying fresh produce in bulk, it's important to plan meals that will use the fruits and veggies before they spoil. This not only reduces food waste but also maximizes nutritional benefits for your family. Using produce that’s labeled USDA organic, like the mangos I bought, reassures me about the quality and safety of the food we consume. Overall, Costco’s pricing on fresh produce allows families to maintain a balanced diet without breaking the bank. Whether smoothies, baking, or simple meals, bulk produce has become a reliable part of my weekly shopping routine.
