The idea that "You are not broken... you are breaking through" resonated deeply with me. It encouraged me to stop harshly judging my imperfections and instead appreciate them as markers of growth and learning. Embracing this mindset means accepting that personal development is an ongoing process rather than a destination. When I faced setbacks or emotional pain, it became easier to treat myself with kindness and patience. Recognizing that being "devastatingly-human unfinished works of art" reflects our ever-evolving nature has helped me release unrealistic expectations. Practices like daily self-reflection, mindfulness, and nurturing self-care routines reinforced this mindset and contributed to my whole-person wellness. I found that healing isn't linear, but a series of breakthroughs and learning moments. Reminding myself that I am not broken, just growing, helps to maintain hope and motivation. This approach also encouraged me to seek support without shame and connect with communities focused on growth, self-acceptance, and healing. Overall, adopting a growth mindset fosters empowerment and resilience, helping us become more compassionate toward ourselves during our healing journey.
