Sealing the nail edges thoroughly is a vital step many overlook—they drastically increase wear time. Lastly, a lint-free wipe soaked in -80% rubbing alcohol is my final step before curing layers under a UV/LED lamp. This removes any residue and ensures perfect curing. Following these steps has helped me keep my soft gel nails intact for over five weeks without popping or lifting. Regular touch-ups of the topcoat can also extend wear if needed.
