Context/Description: Family trip to visit a ghost town in Nevada.

Additional tips: Goodsprings, Nevada use to be a thriving mining town around 1910 but the population declined to 162 which is characterized as a ghost town. Not all the historical sites were available for touring yet. One of the members of the community did inform us that they intend to bring more tourism to their community in the future.

We plan to visit more nearby ghost towns in the near future. We enjoy outdoor adventures.

The Pioneer Saloon, a notable site, opens its doors from 9 AM to 8 PM, and entry is priced affordably between $10 to $20. As you explore, you'll find that not all historical attractions are open yet, but local community members aspire to develop more tourism in the future, making it an exciting destination for upcoming trips. Be sure to check out other nearby ghost towns, as they promise more outdoor adventures and memorable experiences. If you enjoy combining travel with a touch of history, Goodsprings should be on your list!
