My First Post Divorce Vacation
I don't know about you, but my first vacation with my kids since my divorce 2 years ago was intimidating. While I had always done the planning, packing and organization, my ex husband handled the planes, trains and automobiles. He made sure we got there and back without issues. If anything unexpected happened, he took care of it. The kids and I could relax knowing that we were safe as we traveled. So, for the first time in 57 years our road trip from Florida to the mountains of North Carolina was on me. Let me tell you, it was not without issues, lol. Lessons were learned, but I did it with the help of my kids and family. It was well worth it and I am looking forward to going again. I highly recommend a road trip with your young adult children, we laughed ALOT. If you are in the Hendersonville, NC area, I highly recommend lunch at The Book and Bee Cafe & Tea. It is the cutest tea house that also happend to serve amazing food. plan to be a little patient, there will be a line. #lifeafterdivorce
