foods I love and why🫶🍔

coconut cult: the passion fruit flavor is the best hands down, as someone who can’t have dairy it allows me to feed my microbiome which leads to a healthier gut 🤭

turkey burger: I tried this the other day and found it’s an easy dinner when I’m to lazy to make more complicated recipes, I got all the ingredients from Trader Joe’s and you can customize the toppings as you like! To make the fries just pop the crinkle cut sweet potato’s on a baking tray with olive oil and whatever seasonings you like and bake at 350 for 30 minutes, flipping them at the 15 minute mark to get an even bake😘

salmon: a great source of omega 3 but also super simple, the rice is prepackaged so you can pop it in the microwave for a minute and 30 sec and the carrots can be put in the air fryer at 370 for 15 minutes (give or take) 🥕

crêpe: balance is key so having a yummy dessert out never hurts😋 always remember to treat yourself well and if something sweet makes you feel better at the end of the day it’s exactly what your body needs

... Read moreAs someone who values both taste and health, I've found that incorporating probiotic-rich foods like coconut cult's passion fruit flavored yogurt has been a game changer for my digestive wellness. Dairy-free options not only cater to my sensitivities but also boost my microbiome effectively. Pairing this with easy-to-make meals like turkey burgers, sourced conveniently from Trader Joe’s, helps me maintain a balanced diet even on busy days. The baked sweet potato fries, simply tossed with olive oil and seasoning then baked at 350°F, offer a healthier alternative to traditional fries and are impressively crispy when flipped halfway through. When it comes to dinner, salmon is my go-to for omega-3 fatty acids and quick preparation. Combining prepackaged microwaveable rice with air-fried carrots provides a nutrient-packed meal with minimal effort, highlighting how practical healthy eating can be. I appreciate using the air fryer for carrots as it intensifies their natural sweetness while keeping cooking times short. And of course, life isn’t just about the savory—it’s important to treat yourself kindly. I love finishing my meals with a strawberry dark chocolate crepe because it strikes the perfect balance between indulgence and portion control. Giving yourself permission to enjoy a sweet treat can improve overall satisfaction and prevent feeling deprived. Overall, these foods reflect my personal journey toward embracing gut health, convenience, and mindful indulgence. By choosing nutrient-dense yet easy recipes and snacks, I’ve found managing a healthy lifestyle to be sustainable and enjoyable.
