📖 “Because of your faith, it will happen.” —Matthew 9:29
In Matthew 9, two blind men followed Jesus and cried out for mercy. 👣🙏 Jesus asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They answered yes—and Jesus touched their eyes and healed them. 👀✨✝️
Their faith wasn’t wishful thinking or a magic formula. It was complete trust in who Jesus is and what He is able to do. 🤲🩷
Jesus pointing upward in this picture reminds us to lift our eyes above our fear, doubt, and circumstances. ☁️✨ The little lamb represents His loving care 🐑, while the blooming flowers remind us that faith can grow beautifully—even during seasons of waiting. 🌸🌷🦋
Faith doesn’t mean we control God or that everything will happen exactly the way we imagined. It means we pray boldly, surrender the outcome, and continue trusting that Jesus is powerful, loving, and faithful. 🙏🕊️
When fear whispers, “It’s impossible,” faith answers, “Jesus is able.” 🩷✝️ Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep looking to the One who can do what you cannot. 🌸✨
... Read moreI've personally found that embracing faith when fear tries to take over is a transformative experience. Like the two blind men in Matthew 9, who trusted Jesus despite their circumstances, I’ve learned that faith is not about having all the answers but about trusting in God’s ability to work beyond my limitations.
One especially difficult season in my life made me realize how vital it is to 'look up'—to keep my focus on Jesus instead of the challenges around me. The imagery of Jesus pointing upward and the lamb symbolizing His care deeply resonated with me, reminding me that I am never alone in my struggles. Just like the blooming flowers, faith can grow and flourish even in hard times when nurtured with prayer and surrender.
What I also appreciate most is that faith is not a ticket to controlling outcomes. It’s about boldly praying and surrendering the results, trusting that God’s timing and power are perfect. When fear whispers 'It’s impossible,' I remind myself that Jesus is able, drawing strength from that confident truth.
Sharing these reflections with friends in my faith community has helped me stay encouraged and persistent. It’s powerful how collective faith can reinforce personal trust in God’s love and faithfulness. If you’re facing fear or doubt, I encourage you to keep looking up, keep praying, and keep trusting, knowing that through faith, healing and breakthroughs are truly possible.
Amen
