Only THREE ingredients needed! 🍪
And you probably already have two of the three :)

I’m not a baker by any means, but I wanted to make some “homemade” cookies for the holidays. I came across a recipe that only called for three ingredients (I’ll post the link in the comments) and decided I didn’t have much to lose from trying it out (also worth mentioning that the reviews were overall pretty great).
My kids (and Santa) all loved them! 🎅
Next I’m going to experiment with some Valentine’s Day themed cookies, so stay tuned for those!! ❤️🩷

Baking cookies doesn’t have to be a complicated task! This 3-ingredient cookie recipe is perfect for beginners and busy parents alike. The beauty of these cookies lies in their simplicity and the endless customization options they offer. Start with a box of any flavor cake mix; red velvet is a festive choice, especially during the holidays. Combine it with 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and two large eggs to create the dough. Once mixed, scoop the dough into balls and space them on a cookie sheet. Remember to preheat your oven to 350°F and bake for 10-12 minutes. These cookies may look soft when you take them out, but they will set as they cool. Let them rest for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Feel free to experiment with different cake mixes, such as lemon or chocolate. You can also add fun toppings like sprinkles, chocolate chips, or nuts to suit your taste. This cookie dough is versatile, so let your creativity shine! Perfect for holiday treats or a fun baking activity with your kids, this recipe ensures you'll enjoy delightful cookies with minimal effort. So why wait? Grab those three ingredients and get baking today!
