Deciding to go to grad school is a really big decision because it is a big time commitment during a very valuable time in your life. That’s why it’s super important to make sure that it’s the right thing for you and to do your research and really sit and think about what you want what your major life goals are and what your time at grad school would physically look like for you given your options and situation.
For some people grad school can be just a couple of months and others. It can be another seven or so years so it’s really dependent on the program that you’re interested in. Another thing that’s very dependent on the program is the finances if there’s opportunities to have your program paid for the scholarships that you get and if you are allowed to work and have internships during your program or not.
I think the most important thing is that you do it because you like what you do you think you can be successful in it and it’s needed. I think a lot of people go to grad school in some fields because they think that’s just the next step and while it is a next step, it’s not the only next step and that’s why it’s really important to make sure that grad school is the right choice given your situation and life goals.
