Okay, so you know how some shows just stick with you? That’s exactly how I feel about *Hamilton*! Last night was truly something special. My besties and I finally got to see it live, and honestly, the energy was electric. We spent ages dissecting everything from the 'I'm not throwing away my shot' variations to the hilarious takes on King George III's songs. It's incredible how the fan community has taken the musical and created this whole other layer of humor and relatability. We even came up with a few new ones, inspired by our own silly moments from the show! The whole night was just filled with 'Hamilton smiling' moments. From the pure elation of seeing the cast perform, to the joyous chatter at the restaurant, our faces were probably aching from all the grinning. Seeing that group of six young people, all smiling and totally immersed in the experience, was truly heartwarming. We also got into some deep 'Linderella Hamilton' discussions. Now, for the uninitiated, that's our little inside joke, a sort of fan-fiction persona we've created for exploring alternative storylines or just imagining the characters in ridiculously modern scenarios. It's amazing how much creative energy this musical sparks! We talked about what if certain characters had different roles, or what kind of TikToks they'd make today. It’s all part of the fun of being a fan, really – taking the core material and letting your imagination run wild. We even brainstormed some new song parodies. It adds a whole new layer of fun and keeps the magic of the show alive long after the curtain falls.
