Easy baked chocolate pudding 🍮

#dessertrecipe #lemon8challenge

Made this because I wanted something warm, rich, and comforting without making an entire cake 😭🤍 the crumb topping made it even better

Recipe:

Ingredients:

* 1 cup milk

* ½ cup sugar

* ¼ cup cocoa powder

* ½ cup flour

* 2 tbsp melted butter

* 1 egg

* 1 tsp vanilla

* Pinch of salt

* Crushed cookie crumbs for topping

Steps:

Mix sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a bowl. Add milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.

Pour into small ramekins or baking dish. Top with crushed cookie crumbs.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25–30 mins until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft ✨

I like eating it warm straight out of the oven. Also adding chocolate chunks inside makes it even richer 🫶

... Read moreBaked chocolate pudding is a fantastic dessert for those moments when you crave something indulgent but don't want to spend too much time or effort baking an entire cake. The beauty of this recipe lies in its simplicity and versatility. Using basic pantry staples like milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and flour, you can create a dessert that's both satisfying and easy to prepare. One tip I've found helpful is to make sure the mixture is well-whisked until smooth to avoid any lumps, ensuring a creamy texture throughout. Adding the crushed cookie crumbs on top not only adds a delightful crunch but also a fun texture contrast that elevates the pudding from ordinary to special. Another great variation is to sprinkle chocolate chunks or chips inside the batter before baking, which creates pockets of melted chocolate that make each bite extra decadent. You can also experiment with different types of cookies for the topping, like chocolate wafers or graham crackers, depending on your taste preferences. When baking, keep an eye on the pudding; it’s important for the edges to be set while the center stays slightly soft. This gives it that perfect pudding-like consistency rather than a firmer cake texture. Serving the pudding warm straight from the oven amplifies its comforting feel, but it can also be paired wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for added indulgence. Overall, this baked chocolate pudding is a quick and rewarding dessert option that’s perfect for any occasion, especially cold days when you want to treat yourself to something cozy and chocolatey.
