Fifty two hertz whales.
Synopsis → Kigo, the family of life is exploited, the opinion is ignored and hard days were sent. Meanwhile, to support the encounter with "Ann-san," who saved him, he left Tokyo and moved to a house in the seaside town of Oita. There, Kigo is neglected and abused by his mother, and he meets a boy who is called "mushi" by the surroundings. Unable to overlook the boy who overlaps with his past, Kigo takes care of the boy and begins to live together. Like the 52 Hertz Whale, the two, who were in loneliness by emitting an SOS that no one can reach, gradually communicate with each other. Eventually, when the boy's "only one wish" sprouted, Takago heard the boy's voice and decided to stand up again to rescue him, just as he was saved.

「52ヘルツのクジラたち。」は、名前の由来となった52ヘルツのクジラの孤独な叫びと同じように、主人公たちが誰にも届かないSOSを発しながらも、やがて心の絆を築いていくストーリーが印象的です。私自身、日常生活で孤独や周囲との距離感に悩むことがありますが、この映画を通して、孤独を感じている人が誰かに支えられ、共鳴し合うことで前に進む力を得られることを改めて実感しました。 特に、映画の舞台となる大分の海辺の街は、人々が穏やかな自然の中で心を癒やせる場所として描かれており、孤立していた主人公たちにとっての再生の象徴になっています。私も旅行で海辺の町を訪れた際、静かな時間が心の整理や癒しにつながった経験があり、同じように環境が心の支えになると感じました。 また、「52ヘルツのクジラ」という存在は、誰にも届かない孤独な叫びを象徴しているだけ でなく、届くことが難しいからこそ、聞き取る側の努力や気づきが必要であることを教えてくれます。本作のように、人の声なき声に耳を傾ける姿勢は、現代の社会問題であるネグレクトや虐待に対しても大切な視点だと感じました。 作品に登場する少年「ムシ」と主人公の交流は、孤独な心が救われる過程として、観る人それぞれに共感や気づきをもたらします。私も映画を見て、あらためて身近な人の小さなSOSに気づけるよう心がけたいと思いました。この映画は、深く胸に響く感動とともに、共鳴し合う人間同士の大切さを教えてくれる作品です。
