My cat is my only friend
Hi, just in case you don't already know my names Kayla and I am my truest self on here.
Okay my title is only kinda true, I have my friends at work but I only see them at work when I'm working. Recently meaning as of the last 2 weeks ago I have started therapy again. One day I had an epiphany, here I am a grown ass woman who is not living in a toxic environment and continuing toxic relationships anymore and I should be happy but I'm not because I'm the one being toxic and causing the toxicity in my life now. I'm starting to realize that I can be happy. I have started working on myself because of how much I hate myself. And that right there is why I don't have any friends. I have spent my whole life thinking so little of myself that I push people away, especially if I like them. I always tell myself that they are such a dope person I don't deserve to have a relationship with them, I'm not good enough and I will inevitably fuck it up somehow. Self sabotaging has become just second nature to me that I do it and don't realize it. I think so little of myself that I feel like I don't deserve to interfere in people's lives. It took so much for me to even get a decent boyfriend that I don't even know why he's with me. But now since therapy and working on why I hate myself has helped me to understand that no one is just gonna automatically hate me, I don't need to assume that they already do and then self sabotage. I know I'm not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but that doesn't mean that there aren't people that will like my tea too. (Lol that was cheesey 🧀 borderline cringey)
