I’ve lived here for about 2 years now and i’ve slowly started accumulate pieces that fit the vibe of my space. It definitely took some trial and error though. when i first moved in I tried sticking to a neutral vibe, with mainly black and white, and then i realized that I was bored with it and wanted more color.

I love how my space looks now and i’m so happy with it 🥰 let me know what you think ;)

Different shades can evoke various emotions; for example, warm colors like yellows and oranges can create a welcoming environment, while blues and greens can bring a sense of calm. I began incorporating brighter accents through decorations, artwork, and furniture choices, striking a balance between aesthetic appeal and comfort. Additionally, I found that my decor choices didn't need to be permanent. The beauty of home decor lies in its flexibility; you can change things around, swap out cushions, or add new pieces without committing to a complete overhaul. This adaptability allowed me to experiment without fear of making mistakes. I utilized platforms like Instagram and Pinterest to gather ideas and understand current trends in home decor, which also helped in connecting with communities passionate about apartment living. Ultimately, the evolution of my apartment’s vibe is a testament to the journey of self-discovery that comes with creating a home.
