I graduated college!
The journey was difficult but I made it! I graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with a degree in journalism. I worked on the student-run newspaper and worked at the local TV station during my time at Humboldt. I also made some great friends there.
Graduation is a significant milestone in one's life, representing hard work, dedication, and growth. As a recent graduate of Cal Poly Humboldt, I can attest to the fact that the journey is filled with ups and downs. From experiencing rigorous coursework to working on the student-run newspaper, I learned invaluable lessons that will undoubtedly shape my future career in journalism. The camaraderie built with my peers is something I cherish the most. Collaborating on diverse stories and projects helped me cultivate important skills such as teamwork and communication. Additionally, my time spent at a local TV station allowed me to gain practical experience in a professional setting, further enhancing my knowledge of the media and journalism landscape. Graduation day wasn’t just a personal achievement but also a celebration with family and friends who supported me throughout my academic journey.
