My boyfriend and I adopted a kitten recently! She’s about 10 weeks old and is a snowshoe lilac point siamese. The business next to where my boyfriend works caught her and came by to ask if anyone wanted a kitten and we said yes! She’s gray, which my boyfriend loves because his cat he had until a few years ago was gray and my family has had several siamese cats.

When we first heard about her, we knew instantly she was meant to be part of our family. She's a beautiful lilac point Snowshoe Siamese, and let me tell you, her striking blue eyes are absolutely captivating. Every time she looks at you, it feels like she's gazing right into your soul!
She's only about 10 weeks old, and we're just completely smitten with her unique personality. Snowshoe Siamese kittens are known for being quite playful and vocal, and Violet is no exception. She loves to explore every nook and cranny of the house, pouncing on toys, and chasing after anything that moves. Her little meows are so sweet, often caught mid-yawn or mid-meow as she stretches, especially when she's asking for cuddles or playtime. It's truly amazing to watch her discover the world around her, whether she's batting at a sunbeam or exploring the garden near vibrant pink flowers.
One of the most charming things about lilac point Snowshoe Siamese cats is their distinctive appearance. Violet's coat is a beautiful, soft grey, which is exactly what a 'lilac point' signifies – a delicate, muted grey with pinkish undertones on her ears, face, paws, and tail. Combined with the white 'boots' and chest markings characteristic of a Snowshoe, she's absolutely stunning. Those piercing blue eyes are a hallmark of the Siamese breed, and on a Snowshoe kitten, they stand out even more, giving her such an expressive face. We've taken so many photos already, trying to capture every adorable moment, from her peeking out from a cozy blue and white striped towel to her playful antics.
Adjusting to a new home can be a big step for any kitten, but Violet has settled in remarkably well. She's already made friends with our dog, Jax, who seems quite interested in his new tiny companion. Watching them interact, with Jax gently sniffing her as she's wrapped up safely in a brown towel, is just the sweetest thing. We made sure to give her plenty of quiet spaces to feel secure, along with lots of interactive toys to keep her stimulated. It's been a wonderful experience introducing her to all the comforts of home, making sure she has plenty of soft spots to nap and places to climb.
If you're considering adopting a Snowshoe Siamese kitten, I can't recommend it enough. They're incredibly affectionate, intelligent, and form strong bonds with their human companions. Violet is already a little shadow, following us from room to room, always curious and ready for a cuddle. She's not just a pet; she's truly become a cherished member of our family. Every day with her is a new adventure, full of purrs, playful pounces, and those unforgettable blue-eyed stares. We're so excited to watch her grow and continue to bring so much happiness into our lives. Their unique blend of Siamese elegance and Snowshoe charm makes them truly special companions.
