As I reflect on the message that Jesus is coming back soon, it reminds me of how important it is to live with purpose and faith every day. The Bible reminds us in 1 John 2:17 that worldly desires are temporary, but doing the will of God leads to eternal life. This truth encourages me to focus on spiritual growth rather than fleeting pleasures. One passage that stands out to me during this season is Hebrews 1:10-11, which tells us that heaven and earth will perish, but God remains forever. This gives me comfort during difficult times when the world feels unstable. Trusting God’s unchanging nature helps me remain hopeful and steadfast. I have learned that life will test our faith, and it’s normal to face seasons of uncertainty. Yet, listening to God’s guidance daily brings peace even when things don’t go as planned. Psalm 61:1-2 encourages me to cry out to God in my weakest moments, knowing He listens and shelters me. Putting on the ‘full armor of God’ as instructed in Ephesians 6:13 is practical for spiritual readiness. It means preparing myself with truth, righteousness, and faith so I can stand strong when challenges arise. It’s a reminder that being ready for Jesus’ return involves active faith, not passive waiting. Finally, these reflections have strengthened my understanding that a genuine relationship with God influences all areas of my life. Fixing my eyes on Jesus helps me seek peace and pursue righteousness as Psalm 34:14 advises. Preparing for His coming is not just about the future but about transformation today, making every moment count in faith and love.
