Day in the life | College Undergrad Edition 🍋🌸

My day starts off with some volunteering at The Pantry. Then I head towards my first class followed by my second and third. I find a break in between for lunch and then get started on some homework. I attended the majors fair to learn more about the different programs offered here. Then I went to diving practice and watched the beautiful sunset! 🌅 I had dinner with some friends and then headed to tumble at the gym. Lastly I finished up with a nice gym workout. Good night!

... Read moreAs a college undergraduate, balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal life can be both challenging and rewarding. Starting the day with volunteering at The Pantry highlights the importance of giving back to the community and managing time effectively. Between 9:30 am and 11:30 am, attending lectures sets the academic tone, followed by attending the majors fair around 2:30 pm. This event is crucial for undergraduates exploring different departments and deciding on a major, especially in diverse fields like Computer Science. Going to diving practice in the afternoon at UC Davis’s Schaal Aquatics Center not only helps maintain physical fitness but also builds discipline and teamwork skills. Watching a beautiful sunset after practice is a perfect way to unwind and appreciate campus life. Evening activities like tumbling at the gym and a workout on the RowERG machine show the dedication to health and fitness, which is vital for maintaining mental clarity and energy throughout the week. This routine exemplifies a balanced college lifestyle where academics and extracurriculars are given equitable importance. It underscores the value of time management, staying active, and participating in events that expand knowledge and social networks. Whether you're a new student or mid-way through your undergrad journey, incorporating volunteering, academic exploration, athletic training, and social bonding into your day can lead to both personal growth and academic success.
