EP.1: Big Family Home Comfortable Modern Style
Simple boxed modern style homes respond to the homeowner lifestyle and meet the shared living of three ages: grandpa, grandmother, parents and children.
- Main concept -
The architect designed the overall building layout as two houses, two storey houses for parents, children and grandmothers, the other one storey house for grandparents. The design and layout took into account having their own space but also being able to see each other. Then joining the two houses to make it easy to reach each other with balconies. There is a joint activity area like a pool and a garden.
-- Planning and design of living spaces --
The placement and shape of the building creates privacy. It can be viewed from the surrounding context. The architect designed the house in an L-shaped shape surrounding the pool and garden. There is a large living room that is the embodiment of the whole house that can sit and watch TV, sit and work, eat, cook and do activities together. The home hall is designed as Double Space to be transparent. The swimming pool and garden can be seen comfortably. It also takes into account the direction of the sun, wind, rain that makes the house comfortable all day. Especially the large air intake that makes the living room of the main house and the secondary to be open to the wind all day without air conditioning. The balcony and indoor pool are throughout the afternoon, allowing for comfortable activities together until evening.
The exterior has clear lines. There are gimmicks to show the structure and create a patch of slats or trellis panels to decorate the building. In addition to creating beauty for the house, choosing to use it in the right direction also helps to filter the light and camouflage the eyes, increasing privacy.

ถ้าใครกำลังหาข้อมูลเรื่อง “ทางเชื่อมบ้าน 2 หลัง” (บ้านหลังหลัก + บ้านหลังรอง/เรือนผู้สูงอายุ) เราว่าหัวใจสำคัญไม่ใช่แค่ทำทางเดินให้ถึงกัน แต่ต้องทำให้เดินสบาย ปลอดภัย และยังคงความเป็นส่วนตัวของแต่ละหลังด้วย จากไอเดียบ้านโมเดิร์นทรงกล่องที่แยกเป็น 2 อาคารแล้วเชื่อมกันด้วยระเบียง เราสรุปเป็นแนวทางที่นำไปปรับใช้ได้จริงดังนี้ 1) เลือกรูปแบบทางเชื่อมให้เหมาะกับการใช้งาน - “ระเบียงเชื่อม” แบบกึ่งภายนอก: โปร่ง รับลมดี เหมาะกับบ้านที่อยากประหยัดแอร์และให้บ้านหายใจได้ - “โถงเชื่อมกระจก” แบบปิด: เหมาะกับบ้านที่ฝนสาดแรง/ผู้สูงอายุต้องเดินตอนกลางคืนบ่อย ๆ เดินสบายกว่า แต่ต้องคิดเรื่องความร้อนและการระบายอากาศ 2) วางตำแหน่งทางเชื่อมให้สั้นและเป็นธรรมชาติ แนะนำให้เชื่อมบริเวณพื้นที่ที่ใช้ร่วมกันจริง เช่น ใกล้ห้องนั่งเล่น/ครัว/โถงกลาง จะทำให้การเดินไปมารู้สึก “ตั้งใจใช้งาน” ไม่ใช่เดินอ้อม และยังช่วยให้มองเห็นกันและกันได้แบบพอดี ๆ 3) ทำกันแดดกันฝนให้เดินได้ทั้งวัน ทางเชื่อมควรมีหลังคาหรือกันสาดต่อเนื่อง และถ้าบ้านรับแดดบ่ายแรง อาจใช้ “ระแนงบังตาแนวตั้ง” เป็นผนังบางส่วนเพื่อกรองแสง ลดความร้อน และช่วยพรางสายตาจากภายนอกไปพร้อมกัน (ได้ทั้งฟังก์ชันและความสวยของเส้นสายโมเดิร์น) 4) เน้นความปลอดภัยสำหรับคนทุกวัย - พื้นกันลื่น และหลีกเลี่ยงระดับต่างให้มากที่สุด - ถ้าจำเป็นต้องมีสเต็ป ควรทำขอบขั้นชัด ๆ และเพิ่มไฟทางเดิน - ทางเดินกว้างพอให้สวนกันได้ หรือเผื่อรถเข็น/รถเข็นเด็ก (ถ้ามีแผนในอนาคต) 5) เพิ่ม “จุดพักสายตา” ระหว่างทางให้บรรยากาศน่าเดิน บ้านที่เชื่อม 2 หลังแล้วน่าอยู่มาก ๆ มักมีวิวสวน/สระว่ายน้ำระหว่างอาคาร หรือจัดแลนด์สเคปให้ร่มรื่น พอทางเชื่อมมองออกไปเห็นพื้นที่สีเขียว จะรู้สึกเหมือนเดินเล่นมากกว่าเดินผ่านทาง 6) ถ้าจะทำผังรูปตัวแอล (L-shape) ล้อมสระ/สวน ข้อดีคือช่วยกันมุมมองจากรอบบ้านได้ดี และทำให้พื้นที่กลางเป็นโซนกิจกรรมครอบครัว แต่ต้องดูทิศแดด-ลมด้วยนะคะ/ครับ เช่น เปิดช่องลมใหญ่ให้โถงนั่งเล่นรับลมได้จริง จะช่วยให้พื้นที่ส่วนกลางอยู่สบายโดยไม่ต้องพึ่งแอร์ทั้งวัน สรุปคือ ทางเชื่อมบ้าน 2 หลังที่ดีควรเป็น “ตัวกลาง” ที่ทำให้คนในบ้านเจอกันง่ายขึ้น แต่ไม่รบกวนกันเกินไป ถ้าจัดแสง ลม ฝน และความเป็นส่วนตัวลงตัว ทางเชื่อมจะกลายเป็นมุมโปรดของบ้านเลย
