Let's dive into some of my absolute favorite tactics, especially around the high-traffic areas like CCTV Room and Garage. Dominating the CCTV Room & Cash Room: This area is crucial for many bomb sites. For the CCTV Room, I always make sure the exterior walls are reinforced, especially the one leading outside. Inside, my go-to move is to place a Dread Mine hidden right under the desk in the CCTV Room or tucked away on a shelf near the window. Another sneaky spot is on the floor, just out of direct line of sight from the main entrance, perhaps near some deployable holes you might create. This setup helps blinded attackers pushing from the outside or trying to push through the Cash Room door. Remember, the mine's activation sound is key intel! An attacker triggering it gives away their position, letting you or a teammate swing for an easy kill. I've often used this to catch unsuspecting attackers trying to peek the garage push. Locking Down the Garage: The Garage is another critical entry and plant spot. I always ensure the main Garage door walls are reinforced. For Fenrir, I love placing a mine on the floor just inside the garage, behind a shield or an unreinforced wall segment if possible, covering the main entrance. Another fantastic spot is under the stairs leading up to the second floor, or even near the rafters if you can get a good angle. These mines are perfect for catching attackers trying to push in from construction or attempting a quick plant. The blinded effect gives your team precious seconds to react and deny the plant.
