Check out my Backyard Baseball cards from 2001!
Doing things a little different for this Throwback Thursday. Instead of opening a pack I’m just posting some pictures because I found my Backyard Baseball cards from 2001 and they are awesome.
There might be some hall of famers in this group but the legend and GOAT from Backyard Baseball is Pablo Sanchez and so pumped about having his card. If you have played the game you know why his nickname is the Serect Weapon.
Also got Vicki Kawaguchi from the game whose nickname is Swan and she may may not be feared when she comes up to bat but she’s takes away hits with her great fielding and has speed for a stolen base anytime she wants to run.
I got eight big leaguers cards from the game including my all-time favorite player Ken Griffey Jr. Also got Mark McGwire along with Nomar Garciaparra, Derek Jeter, Randy Johnson, Sammy Sosa, Ivan Rodriguez and Cal Ripken Jr.
A new version of the game comes out today also so if you play it enjoy and if you have ever thought about playing it again or for the first time I highly recommend it. It’s a blast to play!
