How I Organize My iPad - & Two Apps I LOVE
Sooooooo there are really so many ways in which I do this! And it’s always evolving.
First - get a habit tracker. I LOVE the app habit on the App Store. It’s a pink icon… it’s literally perfect to marking off all of your daily “habit” to dos and it helps me get it done.
Second, I love app “structured” it’s a time block event planner that helps you plan your day. This isn’t sponsored yall I literally use these every day.
Third, figure out your aesthetic! It always changes of course - but I make sure my iPad is always clean and fresh with the season! There are tons of ways to start planning a new theme for your tech. It helps me stay organized every day because I like to look at it!! Haha.
If you’re interested in how I set this up, I spend over 6 months designing wallpapers to fit widgets perfectly. Check it out in the link in my bio. All on Etsy will Apple Pay 50% off.

It's amazing how quickly an iPad can go from being a powerful tool to a chaotic mess, isn't it? I totally get it! My iPad used to be a jumble of apps and notifications, making it hard to find anything and even harder to focus. But after a lot of trial and error, I've found a system that truly works for me, making my digital life so much smoother. Beyond just finding great apps, the first step to a truly organized iPad is rethinking your app icons and home screen layout. I started by decluttering, deleting apps I hadn't used in months. Then, I embraced folders, grouping similar apps together. Think 'Productivity Hub,' 'Creative Corner,' or 'Learning & Growth.' This really tidies up the main screen! I also make heavy use of the App Library – it's brilliant for keeping less-frequently used apps out of sight but still easily accessible. And don't forget your dock! This prime real estate is reserved for my absolute must-have daily apps, like my email, browser, and of course, my favorite habit tracker. Speaking of apps, while my original post mentioned a couple of life-changers, let me dive a bit deeper into how they transform my day. For me, a dedicated habit tracker (like 'habit' mentioned earlier) is non-negotiable. It's not just about ticking off boxes; it’s about building consistent routines. I use it to track everything from my morning meditation to daily learning goals. Seeing my progress visually really motivates me, turning daily tasks into satisfying achievements. Paired with a robust time-blocking app (like 'structured'), I can map out my entire day, allocating specific times for work, breaks, and even personal projects. This helps me visualize my schedule, ensuring I hit my priorities without feeling overwhelmed. It's like having a digital assistant managing my calendar and to-do list for me! Now, let's talk aesthetics – because an organized iPad should also be a joy to look at! This is where personalization truly shines. My personalized home screen isn’t just neat; it's designed to inspire. I invest time in customizing my various widgets to fit my current mood or seasonal theme. Beyond just a date and weather widget, I love incorporating a vision board widget to keep my goals front and center. You can also create custom app icons using the Shortcuts app for a truly cohesive look, matching your wallpapers perfectly. There are so many resources out there, like Pinterest or even other creators on Lemon8, for inspiration. It's not just about looking pretty; an aesthetic setup genuinely makes me more inclined to use my iPad efficiently and stay on top of my tasks. It's a small change that makes a huge difference in my daily motivation and overall feeling of being organized. Trust me, a beautifully functional iPad is a game-changer!
