Halloween is over!
Turkey Time!
Wow, HALL-WEEN WAS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL this year! I'm still buzzing from all the spooky fun, the creative costumes, and the general festive atmosphere. It felt like everyone brought their A-game to the celebrations, and I definitely made some amazing memories that I'll cherish until next year. The crisp autumn air just made everything feel even more magical, didn't it? Now that the last ghosts have been laid to rest and the candy bowls are (mostly) empty, my mind is quickly shifting gears. It’s officially time to say goodbye to the spooky season and start thinking about what’s next: bring on the TURKEY! For me, 'Turkey Time' isn't just about Thanksgiving Day itself, but the entire beautiful season leading up to it. It's about embracing the cozier side of autumn, preparing for feasts, and cherishing time with loved ones. I'm already getting into the fall spirit by planning out my Thanksgiving menu. Are you a traditionalist or do you like to try new recipes every year? I'm thinking about perfecting my sweet potato casserole recipe and maybe attempting a new cranberry sauce this time around. Beyond the food, I love decorating my home with warm, inviting colors – think rich oranges, deep reds, and rustic browns. There's something so comforting about transforming your space to reflect the season. This period between Halloween and Thanksgiving is also perfect for reflecting and practicing gratitude. After all the excitement, it’s nice to slow down a bit. I love taking long walks in the park, crunching through fallen leaves, and enjoying a warm drink. It's truly a time for comfort food, warm blankets, and good books. I'm also starting to think about my holiday gift lists (yes, already!), and making plans to connect with family and friends I haven't seen in a while. So, while Halloween was phenomenal, I'm genuinely thrilled for 'Turkey Time' to fully kick in. It’s a season brimming with warmth, good food, and wonderful company. What are you most looking forward to in the coming weeks? Any special traditions you're excited to revive or new ones you're hoping to start? I'd love to hear how you're transitioning from spooky season to the heart of autumn!
