Top 8 best Waterfalls in Minnesota 🌊✨

One of my favorite things to do is go chase waterfalls! Here are some of my favorites in Minnesota 🤍

🍄Illgen Falls is located near Tettegouche State Park in Silver Bay . There’s a short trail to the falls. There are multiple viewing points from above and below the falls. I have also seen people swimming and jumping off the cliff!

🍄 Devils Kettle is located in Judge C.R. Magney State Park. It’s a roughly 2 mile out and back hike to see the falls. Devils Kettle is somewhat of a mystery because the water funnels into a cavern that seems to lead to nowhere. It never fills up and there is no ending in sight. That is why they named it Devils Kettle!

🍄 Cascade River Falls is located in Cascade River State Park. It is a series of cascades and falls that flow down to Lake Superior .

🍄 Caribou Falls is one of my favorite waterfalls in Minnesota!! It’s a short hike through the woods to the falls. There is a beautiful set of stairs that lead you to the falls. If the water level is right, this is a great swimming spot as well.

🍄 High Falls in Grand Portage is technically in two countries! The other side of Grand Portage SP is in Canada! This waterfall is definitely a must-see.

🍄 Beaver River Falls is located in Beaver Bay. You can see these falls from the road, or walk down the path to see them.

🍄 Gooseberry Falls is located in Gooseberry Falls State Park . This is one of Minnesotas most popular waterfalls. It’s a short walk from the parking lot, and you can even see them from above from the road!

🍄 High Falls is located in Tettegouche State Park. This is a beautiful hike, about 1.5 miles. I have visited in both summer and winter, and it is definitely worth it to go either season!
