Psalm 127:2 ✨He gives His beloved rest

Hi guys! Today I made this cozy Bible verse as a reminder that God wants us to find rest in Him.

Sometimes it can feel like we should always be busy. Always have plans, always move. But remember, the Bible says there is a time for everything. There’s a time to laugh and a time to mourn, a time for joy and a time for sorrow, and a time for work and a time for rest.

Take this weekend or even just a morning to rest and spend time with God. He loves you and wants you to have a calm heart 💛

A sweet little side note here: this Psalm is written by Solomon - one who believed in hard work - and he is believed to have interjected himself here, because in Hebrew, the words “his beloved” is the name that God gave Solomon according to 2 Samuel 12:25: “Jedidiah” - meaning “Beloved of Jehovah.”
