Make yourself happy every day.
Hello people of Lemon8! 👋 Anyone who feels that life lacks brightness or happiness is so rare, let's see how we can easily "create happiness ourselves" every day because lasting happiness starts with us! ✨
1. 🧘♀️ Give yourself at least 15 minutes of 'Self-Care' time.
Happiness starts with taking good care of yourself physically and mentally. Don't let yourself get too tired. Try to arrange a short time each day to do something that makes you feel better:
Body Care: Exercise gently, apply skin cream, wash your hair and gently massage your scalp.
Mind Care: Read Favorite Books, Listen to Favorite Songs, Sip Tea / Coffee Alone Quietly, or Meditate Briefly
Tip: Rest and recharge is one of our "duties"!
2. 🙏 Practice 'thank you' and look for good things each day.
Our brains tend to remember negative things more easily than positive ones. Try to change focus by practicing thank you:
Write a Gratitude Journal: Before going to bed, write at least 3-5 grateful things, such as "Very delicious coffee," "Non-stick car," or "Meet an old friend."
Positive: Trying to find advantages or lessons from bad situations or things that don't go as hoped (such as heavy rain, possibly a chance to stay at a vacation home)
3. 🎯 Set a 'small goal' achieved on that day.
The feeling of joy that comes from accomplishing something will increase our happiness a lot.
Set measurable goals: such as "Laundry done," "Reply to all emails," "Complete 50% of this work," or "Drink 8 glasses of water."
Take action intently: Once successful, sincerely appreciate yourself. A little reward for yourself helps!
4. 🧑🤝🧑 Build and maintain a 'good relationship'.
Humans are social animals. Having a good relationship with those around us is an important factor in our level of happiness.
Give Time to Intimate People: Phone Your Parents, Date with Close Friends, or Spend Quality Time with a Lover Without Anything Else Disturbing (Mobile Storage)
Be a giver: A little help or kindness to others, such as smiling at strangers, giving helpful advice, will make you feel better about yourself.
5. 🤸♀️ Try out some challenging but fun 'new activities'.
Using our skills to do a few favorite or challenging activities will allow us to momentarily focus, enjoy, and forget about chaos.
Searching for hobbies: such as drawing, cooking, planting trees, knitting, or learning a new language.
Let go of the results: focus on the fun and the process of doing such things. Don't pressure yourself to be "the best." Just "good for the heart" is enough.
