Book recommendations
Crazy faith by Pastor Michael Todd was a book I read at the beginning of my reading and healing journey
When I started my self love journey I know God was calling me back and I did what I needed to get in line. During this time churches were still closed and then open for a while so I found a place I could dedicate to every week and I discovered Pastor Michael Todd. I love the way he explained things on a level of understanding for the people that didn’t grow up in and church want to understand.
I closed this book with a fire under me that if I played small that’s what I could continue to be small. Dream big and put in the work it takes also check in with God to be sure that you’re following the path laid for you.
Do it anyway by Tasha Cobbs Leonard this book gave me a sense of everyone being normal. You know when we see most people that I have made it we sometimes forget that there was a process and levels that this person had to reach to get to where they are and also even when you are doing what you are supposed to be doing sometimes things will not always work out the way we want them to.
I took away from this book that we all have a story but it’s up to us to decide which story we will tell. The one that we created in our mind or the one we are living and walking through and still know that God has a plan for us
