I’ll start: detox teas and crystal healing.
Let's get petty and expose some frauds. I was thinking about how many products are marketed with huge promises but deliver absolutely zero actual results, yet people keep falling for them. What product is an obvious scam that people still passionately buy?
For me, the obvious culprits are things that promise quick fixes, like:
-Detox teas: Your liver already does that job for free!
-Spot-reducing cellulite creams: Doesn't exist. Period.
-vitamins/supplements that promise to ""boost"" something you don't even need boosting.
The whole thing makes me feel so frustrated because these products often prey on people who are genuinely looking for help, and then they just waste their money.
What is the single biggest product or service you look at and feel confused that people still spend their money on? I'm ready to take notes!
