My Most Chaotic Crochet Project Yet!
This blanket has been a labor of love (and maybe just a little bit of frustration 😂). I decided to change colors every single row, which has made it both incredibly fun and slightly unhinged. The texture and contrast are turning out so good, but let’s just say keeping track of the color order has been a challenge… I may or may not have had to pull apart THREE rows because I skipped a shade. 😭💔
But despite the setbacks, I know this is going to be my favorite crochet project yet!! I’m already dreaming of curling up with it once it’s finished.

Creating a crochet blanket can be both exhilarating and challenging, especially when experimenting with multiple color changes. For those embarking on this journey, it’s essential to understand your yarn choices and stitch patterns. Utilizing self-striping yarn can simplify the process, allowing you to achieve vibrant gradients without the hassle of frequently changing colors. Moreover, keeping track of your color order can help prevent mistakes and save time. Consider using stitch markers to designate where each color change occurs, ensuring that you maintain the intended sequence. In addition, if you find yourself unraveling rows, take a moment to assess the issue before reworking—sometimes, embracing a slight imperfection can add unique character to your project.
