Two months ago, I lost 10 pounds in just 2 weeks, and now I'm back on track to lose another 10 pounds in the next two weeks! 💪
My secret? Cutting out bread, pasta, rice, and sweetened foods (except for one cheat day a week 😉), and doing intermittent fasting. I start my day with a filling smoothie, and then enjoy a big dinner - like this delicious grilled chicken! 🍗
... Read moreI'm so thrilled you're joining me on this journey! Seeing my body transform has been incredibly motivating, and I want to share even more details that have helped me, especially as a woman navigating weight loss. When I talk about intermittent fasting, I usually follow a 16:8 schedule, which means I fast for 16 hours and have an 8-hour eating window. It might sound daunting at first, but your body really does adapt! I started by slowly extending my fasting window by an hour or two each day until I reached 16 hours. Staying hydrated with plenty of water, black coffee, or unsweetened tea during the fasting period is key to managing hunger. This approach has honestly been a game-changer for my fasting weight loss goals, helping me naturally reduce my calorie intake without feeling deprived.
Beyond fasting, my diet focuses heavily on whole, unprocessed foods. Cutting out bread, pasta, rice, and sugary treats made a huge difference. Instead of feeling restricted, I discovered so many delicious alternatives. For my morning smoothie, which keeps me full until my main meal, I usually blend spinach, a scoop of protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, a handful of berries, and a tablespoon of chia seeds. It's packed with nutrients and fiber, perfect for a calorie deficit plan.
Dinner is usually my biggest meal, and I love making it satisfying. The grilled chicken drumsticks you see in my image, paired with a vibrant salad bowl with greens and feta, is a perfect example of a balanced, low-carb meal. I often experiment with different lean proteins like salmon, turkey, or lean beef, always alongside a generous portion of colorful non-starchy vegetables. Think roasted broccoli, asparagus, or a big, fresh mixed green salad with a light vinaigrette. This helps ensure I'm getting all the necessary nutrients while still working towards fat loss.
And yes, I mentioned a cheat day! This is crucial for sustainability. For me, it's about enjoying a small treat or a favorite meal once a week, preventing intense cravings and making the overall plan more manageable. It's not a free-for-all, but a conscious decision to enjoy something I've been looking forward to, then getting right back on track.
One thing I've learned on this female body transformation journey is that consistency trumps perfection. There will be days when you feel less motivated or tempted by holiday treats, especially with all the festive Christmas decorations and gatherings around. But remember your "why." My "before and after" isn't just about the number on the scale; it's about the increased energy, better sleep, and confidence I've gained. It's about feeling stronger and healthier in my own skin. Don't compare your journey to anyone else's; celebrate every small victory and keep going! You've got this!
Basically just keep eating as much as you want and don’t eat bread, pasta or rice! You can also have a cheat day. If you see that you ate a lot the day before then the next day don’t eat any sweets and give your body a day or two break of sugar and pretty much you’ll loose and maintain the weight you lost ❤️
