Teacher appreciation week ..I wish I had a list
Teacher Appreciation Week is a special opportunity each year to honor the hard work and dedication of educators. While the post mentions a wish for a list to celebrate teachers, I’ve found that combining simple gestures with personalized touches can make a big impact. One of my favorite ways to celebrate teachers is by giving small, meaningful gifts like a variety box of mini snacks or treats. Inspired by items like '12 FLAVOR MINI GOMAM' and 'Grab n Go' snacks I came across, these easy-to-share goodies make perfect classroom surprises. Teachers appreciate practical and thoughtful gifts, especially during busy times. Another idea is to create gratitude cards or notes from students. Personal handwritten messages that express specific memories or thanks can brighten a teacher’s day more than elaborate gifts. Incorporating the hashtags #teacherweek and #teacherappreciation, which help spread the spirit of gratitude, can also encourage a community-wide celebration. Hosting a small appreciation event or gathering where students and parents share stories or organize fun activities can foster a sense of community and highlight the importance of teachers. Sometimes, simple recognition during school assemblies or shout-outs can mean just as much. Overall, Teacher Appreciation Week doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive. Little acts of kindness—whether it’s sharing snacks, writing notes, or celebrating publicly—can show teachers how much their hard work is noticed and valued. It’s about creating moments of joy and acknowledgment to uplift and thank those who dedicate themselves to educating the next generation.

As a special education teacher I say thank you 🥰
