The Power of Your Tongue
Good Morning,
Let us encourage one another to ask How is my Tongue Steering Me?
Today, we lean on James 3: 3-6 where God says the Tongue is one of the smallest parts of the body, and without control, it will Kill you fast.
Plain and Simple... the Tongue carries a world of evil, and if you don't give it something else to say, it will lead you to the pits of hell.
The world teaches you to speak from feelings, but the word teaches you to speak from what God said about a situation.
Speak life over yourself and others to grow one another and set one another free.
Don't fall for the schemes of the enemy by letting something so small corrupt your entire body.
How is your Tongue Steering you in this season?
Count it All Joy knowing your Day started wrapped in Love ❤️
The tongue, despite its small size, plays a significant role in shaping our reality and interactions. In the teachings found in James 3:3-6, we learn that our words can lead to growth or destruction. When we let our emotions dictate our speech, we often stray from divine guidance. Instead, focusing on positive affirmations and speaking life encourages resilience and hope in ourselves and others. It’s crucial to monitor the things we say, as unchecked words can lead to conflict and hurt. By choosing to articulate uplifting messages, we create an environment of support and empowerment. Practicing mindful speech challenges us to reflect on our thoughts and intentions behind our words. The world often advises to express feelings freely, but biblically, we are called to reflect on God's truth in our communications. By nurturing a habit of positive dialogue, we pave the way for constructive relationships rather than divisive ones. Remember, the way we speak can either bind or free us and those around us.
