Riding Solo
You know, there's this narrative out there that being single somehow means you're incomplete or just waiting to be 'fixed.' But honestly, my journey riding solo has been anything but. It's a conscious choice, a powerful declaration that I won't settle for anything less than what truly resonates with my spirit. I’ve seen too many friends jump into relationships just to avoid being 'lonely.' And what happens? They often end up with 'temporary people' who don't understand them, leading to 'meaningless relations' and conversations that feel utterly hollow. For me, life is too short to waste 'time wasted that she can't get back.' Tomorrow isn't promised, and I take my time seriously. It’s about protecting my 'mind, body and soul' from anything that doesn't uplift them. Maybe some think I 'expect too much,' but I believe 'what she wants is rare,' and that's perfectly okay. Yes, there are moments, sure, when it 'could be lonely.' But that fleeting loneliness is far better than the deep disappointment of constantly compromising your values or chasing after 'false hopes' and 'expectations.' Of course, I still crave 'intimacy'—who doesn't? But true intimacy isn't just physical; it's a profound connection on every level, something that can only be built with someone genuinely aligned with your core being. I’m 'turning dudes down' not because I'm against love, but because I refuse to dilute my energy with connections that aren't truly reciprocal. The sentiment from the OCR really hit home for me, especially the part about refusing to let 'temporary people touch her mind, body and soul.' It's not about being unapproachable; it's about discerning who gets to share in your most precious resources – your energy, your heart. I'm not closing myself off; I'm simply waiting until I am 'found by the one who's prepared for her.' Someone who has done their own work, understands their worth, and genuinely seeks a partnership built on mutual respect and depth. This solo journey has allowed me to grow, to understand myself better, and to define what I truly need in a partner. It has 'eliminated any false hopes, expectations and disappointments' because my happiness isn't contingent on someone else. It's an inner state. So, if you're out there on a similar path, or if you're 'looking for a woman like this,' understand that her strength comes from her self-worth. 'Make sure you take the necessary steps to prepare yourself for her,' because she's not just looking for a companion; she's looking for an equal who cherishes true connection and respects the journey she's undertaken.
