Why I deleted TikTok and downloaded lemon8 instead

✨In my free time outside of work I could spend 8+ hours a day on TikTok. I know just about every different niche interest, every internet beef, and probably what Kim K plans on eating for dinner next week. There is so much useless and negative information spread throughout tiktok.

✨Although TikTok does have it’s benefits. You can find information on almost anything, and watch people review and compare hundreds to thousands of products before you make a purchase.

✨In addition to that TikTok is also important. Without it people wouldn’t be able to spread information as quickly about situations that need quick action. Such as petitions, canvassing, and boycotts/protesting.

✨But once I got to a point of feeling like i was addicted to my phone, and I was consuming content that made me angry or sad and a daily basis, I knew it was time for a break.
