Products containing ingredients like niacinamide, vitamin C, and alpha arbutin have been incredibly helpful in my routine for brightening and evening out my skin tone. I start with a gentle cleanser, then apply a serum packed with antioxidants to target pigmentation. Following this, a moisturizer with soothing ingredients helps maintain hydration without clogging pores. It’s important to incorporate exfoliation wisely—using a mild chemical exfoliant 1-2 times a week can accelerate cell turnover and enhance the fading of dark spots, but over-exfoliating can cause irritation and worsen pigmentation. Rest is also essential; skin repairs itself best during night time. By adopting a dedicated night skincare routine and avoiding the sun’s harmful rays during the day, I noticed my dark spots gradually fading and my skin becoming more radiant.
