POV: YOU LIVE ON A FARM

Ever find yourself scrolling through dreamy farm pictures and thinking, 'What would it really be like to live there?' Well, let me pull back the curtain and share my honest 'POV: You Live on a Farm' experience! It's not always glamorous, but it's incredibly rewarding, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. My mornings here usually start before the sun paints the sky. The first thing on my agenda? Heading out to the coop with my trusty wicker basket to gather a variety of fresh farm eggs. There’s something so satisfying about finding those warm brown, white, and light brown treasures. Then it’s off to check on our animals. Seeing our sweet light-colored cow grazing peacefully by the metal fence or watching the two horses grazing by a stream in the lush green fields truly sets the tone for a calm day. And of course, my golden retriever dog is always right there with me, ready for his morning romp across the lawn. The daytime keeps me busy, but it's a good kind of busy. We often spend time in the garden, harvesting things like fresh corn – some husked, some still in their green jackets. There’s a real joy in knowing exactly where your food comes from. On a cooler day, you might find me in our cozy farm kitchen, the scent of yeast filling the air as I bake several loaves of freshly baked artisan bread. Or perhaps I’m perfecting a berry pie (my personal favorite!), letting it cool on the windowsill with white lace curtains, just like in the old storybooks. As the day winds down, that's when the real magic happens. Our white farmhouse becomes bathed in the most incredible light.
