You’re blessed to raise the next generation
Parents, guardians, mentors, teachers, coaches and everyone else who’s involved with young people, remember that you are raising the next generation. They are watching everything we do. I want you to accept that as an honor rather than a burden. Teach them what wasn’t taught to you. Show them a better way. Let them know the consequences of their actions and be the very best version of you. As a child who was blessed with a village of mentors, teachers and more outside of my blood family, I know the impact this has one a person’s life. I’m extremely grateful that God has blessed me to be this example now starting at home. In this video, Harmony is just imitating her mommy. I was finishing up work and she just wanted to assist and affirm me that she appreciates me. Harmony is only 3 years old. No one is making her say the things she says, but she’s wise enough to know and appreciate the good that’s around her. Her and her siblings constantly remind their dad and I that we’re raising the next generation which is them. Starting with us, we’re going to make sure they’re surrounded by the right people to become the best versions of themselves. Although we can’t make future decisions for them, we know that if we train them up right, God has the rest.🙌🏾❤️
